United States: According to expert research, people who work out two days each week can stop their hearts from diseases and cancers.
Experts established that breaking up physical exercise into two days with 150 minutes each delivers identical health outcomes to daily exercise.
More about the news
Individuals who exercised two days weekly saw their death risk reduced by 32 percent for any cause and showed a 31 percent decline in cardiac disease-related deaths and 21 percent reduced cancer-related mortality rates.

150 Minutes of Exercise Can Save Lives
Adults, according to the American Heart Association, need to perform exercise at moderate intensity for 150 minutes per week or vigorous exercise for 75 minutes per week, but they can achieve this requirement by spreading the activity throughout the week.
The study proves that a person can complete 150 minutes of exercise in two separate days, which is just as effective.
What more are the experts stating?
According to Dr Zhi-Hao Li, an epidemiologist at Southern Medical University in Guangzhou, China, “You don’t need to exercise every day to stay healthy,” Daily Mail reported.
“As long as you get 150 minutes of moderate to vigorous physical activity per week – whether packed into one to two days or spread out – you can significantly reduce your risk of dying from cardiovascular disease, cancer, or other causes,” he added.

Nearly 100,000 UK adults aged from 37 to 73 were classified into three distinct groups following publication in the Journal of the American Heart Association.
The study identified three exercise groups based on participant habits. The first group was made of ‘active weekend warriors’ who exercised mainly on weekends while the ‘active regulars’ exercised daily, and the third group consisted of ‘inactive’ who failed to reach their 150-minute exercise target.
The researchers studied seven days of physical movement using accelerometer devices while also examining health statistics between 2013 and 2015.
